A Statement on Dr. Hal M. Hirsch, DMD, FAGD’s Planned Retirement:
It is with great excitement that our office gets to welcome two exceptional young doctors: Dr. Marco Bongarzone Jr., DMD and his wife Dr. Hannah Burke, DMD. In preparation for his retirement, Dr. Hal M. Hirsch, DMD, FAGD, has designated this husband-wife team to continue to provide top-quality dental care for this office. While Dr. Hirsch is not retired yet, he is reducing his office hours. As Dr. Bongarzone and Dr. Burke have acquired the practice, they are here to succeed Dr. Hirsch and help him at the office until he is ready to fully retire.
Dr. Marco Bongarzone Jr, DMD
Dr. Bongarzone is an outstanding clinician and is dedicated to providing high-quality care for patients. He believes in a patient-centered approach and making sure that patients are comfortable and stress-free during their appointments.
Dr. Bongarzone graduated from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry and has spent years practicing all aspects of dentistry. He is committed to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry and being up-to-date with technology and techniques so that he can continue to provide the best dental care for his patients. He is comfortable in all aspects of dentistry including, but not limited to, dental implants, root canals, crowns, and clear aligner orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Bongarzone is very family-oriented, and when he is not at the office, he is spending time with his wife, Dr. Hannah Burke, DMD, and their two daughters. They love to take their two little girls Chiara and Giuliana to the park or to get ice cream. He also loves to watch Philadelphia sports, especially the Phillies. Coming from an Italian background, he also loves to cook for his family.
Dr. Hannah Burke, DMD
Dr. Burke is an extremely warm and personable doctor. She highly values patient comfort and wellness. She prioritizes achieving dental health and maintaining it for her patients so she can minimize the stress related to dental issues. She is not only diligent in making sure her patients are healthy, but also in making sure that her patients are happy with how their smiles look.
Dr. Burke also graduated from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. She then completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) following dental school at Virtua Hospital in Camden, NJ. She has extensive practice in the field and also stays up-to-date with the latest techniques in dentistry. She is trained and comfortable in all aspects of dentistry especially crowns, esthetic restorations, and implants. Dr. Burke is also the daughter of Dr. Jonathan Burke, DMD of Lanzi Burke Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Together this father-daughter duo achieve exceptional implant restorations.
Dr. Burke is South Jersey born and raised. She grew up in Collingswood and went to Rowan University for her undergraduate studies. Of course she is also very family oriented, and loves to spend time with her husband, Dr. Bongarzone and their two daughters. She is also an avid Philly Sports fan, especially around football season and watching the Eagles.
